“Balikatan” was formed by a group of 25 graduates in the United States.

After some years, drought plagued IVCF. They were then deciding to fold up due to financial crisis. Some graduates in the USA felt the need to gather their strength to help IVCF pull through. Balikatan ng mga Kristiyano sa US at Canada emerged as a result.
