FAITH COREMO

Hopes and vision for IVCF

I pray that IVCF Philippines will stay true to the gospel of  the Lord Jesus Christ until He comes again. For it is only through the message of the gospel that He can powerfully work in us and through us to become effective witnesses to our community and to the nation. Because sometimes we tend to neglect this basic  tenet of our faith that should unite us as an organization instead of alienation.

God will call and raise up more students and graduates who passionately love the Lord Jesus Christ, and who will commit to partner in the ministry that God has called IVCF for.

What you want to contribute to IVCF Philippines, if elected:

To help strengthen the graduates ministry by assisting in programs that will encourage and challenge young and old graduates to actively participate in building God’s kingdom in the student and graduates’ ministry.

My availability to eagerly participate in every board meeting. This may sound simple but this is very crucial.

JAY HALLOWELL

Hopes and vision for IVCF

My main vision is that students in the Philippines hear the gospel of Jesus the Christ in all its fullness and that many respond to God’s gospel call.  May those who respond grow in Christ and in leading fellow students to Christ.  Then, may God lead these students into the marketplace, schools, hospitals, churches and all of society, inside of and outside of the Philippines, to continue to grow in the Lord and in leading others, especially the least reached, to hear the gospel of Jesus the Christ in all its fullness.

My hope and vision is that IVCF continue to be one of God’s effective tools in this vision, fulfilling the vision and mission that God has given it.

What you want to contribute to IVCF Philippines, if elected:

By God’s grace I bring governance experience as a member of the following Boards of Trustees: Philippines Home Council of the OMF International, OMF International Philippines (better known as the OMF Philippines Field), and, Asian Theological Seminary.

Missions – I would love to contribute to the continued flow of well-trained and experienced IVCF students and alumni going to the least reached provinces and peoples inside of and outside of the Philippines.  By God’s grace, perhaps both my studies and my experience with OMF can contribute to these.

It is vital to IVCF to continue with sound exegetical and hermeneutical methods, both flowing out of and flowing into sound doctrine.  I also love communicating these in fresh relevant ways to various groups.
