Sam Redelosa – March 2010

Sam-where Sam-how Smiles everywhere (Celebration) December ’09 came with excitement for the fast approaching National Conference ’09. It was my first ever National Conference in IVCF. We went to Manila on the 16th of December, eleven days ahead of the NC, which started on a later date, December 27, 2009. This gave us ample time to plan and to familiarize our role. I was assigned on physical arrangement committee. How I wish there were more, other than myself, Raff and Edcyl! Seeing old friends... Read the rest of this entry »

Kenny Ebo – Feb 2010

Kenny Ebo – Feb 2010

Kini si Kenny RISKY BUSINESS Dear praying friends, How does risk look to a person who is fond of taking calculated risks? How would he face it? Would he, as he often does, take out a measuring stick and, if he finds out it’s too risky, won’t risk of taking such risk? These are just a sample of the questions I have in mind, questions that popped up as I pondered upon the message I heard during the National Conference last December 27-30, 2009 at Development Academy of the Philippines in Tagaytay... Read the rest of this entry »

Lala Pla – March 2010

LIFE IN THE STAFFWORK December 2009 December always enlivens me — it’s Christmas. It is also vacation time and I anticipate spending longer time with my loved ones. This time, though, it was different because I spent my Christmas in Manila preparing for the National Conference held last December 26-30, 2009. I missed my family members but I thank the Lord because somehow He has given me another family, my IVCF family, whom I spent Christmas with. I still thank the Lord for in the absence... Read the rest of this entry »

Madel Canon – January 2010

Ka-IVgan sa Iligan… First Time Opportunities With some staffs before Christmas eve It is always inspiring to work in a ministry where people of different views come together as one declaring the glory of the Sovereign King. The stories of those people from the past and of the present, allowed me to discover more of who God is. He has showed himself further and allowed me to open a box of colorful opportunities. Opportunities which I felt incapable of doing and opportunities that made me grow. After... Read the rest of this entry »

Erick & Dot Velardo – January 2010

In Good Times and Bad Our new year started with a wonderful time at home in Baguio. Though a very short stay, we enjoyed our home and bonding time with family and friends. It was also a time for rest after the tiring, yet fulfilling, National Conference. We had a lot of good times and also had a couple of trying times, yet still experienced God’s presence. In Good Times… Good times. We left for Manila last January 5. The next day was Zeik’s 12th birthday and 5th spiritual birthday. Before... Read the rest of this entry »

Prayer Letter Raff Magdaong – January 2010

January 2010 Dear Brethren, I give thanks to the Lord for He’s faithfulness endures forever. He surprised me in many ways. He sustained me by His riches and He kept me safe by His loving arms. He made me part in building His Kingdom and He refreshed me with many “first times”. Jesus surprised me. An abounding joy covered me when I saw my name in the internet last November. I was one of the passers of Licensure Examination for Teachers among more than forty thousand LET takers all over the... Read the rest of this entry »

Prayer Letter Orozco Update January 2010

Dear Friends, Hello!  How are you? We’ve been through a hectic holiday which was spent in both work and leisure.  We spent the second week of December in Roxas City to visit family and have had an early Christmas break. Then we traveled to Manila on Dec 15 for the pre-National Conference (NC) preparation and stayed at  IVCF Bldg at Quezon City. We thank the Lord for the opportunity to serve Him by being a part of the IVCF NC 2009 working crew. THANK YOU LORD FOR NC 2009! On Dec-26, we left for... Read the rest of this entry »

Kenny Ebo – November 2009

Posted on November - 20 - 2009

Looking back at the past three months, I would summarize my staff life experiences using three Ts – Training, Trying, and Teaching. Training I had a dose of brain-bursting and bone wrenching training for the new staff on August 20-22 (Well, my brain didn’t burst and my bones weren’t wrenched – thank God for that!). It was an information upload, taking in as much as my mind could handle. It was a training that deserved an ample time of processing and reflection for an output. It has... Read the rest of this entry »

Celgen’s Update – September 2009

Dear praying friends, Life in DTC Filipino Bible Study in Saint George's Church The Lord has been so kind to me in the past two months while studying here in Discipleship Training – Singapore. Then every Tuesday afternoon we have job time and on Thursday... Read the rest of this entry »

Delightful Moments

Delightful Moments

25 August 2009 Dear Praying Friends, Eden (in orange) with Pangasinan students I found my strength in God’s word that says, “Father, forgive them for they do not know what they are doing.” I used to imagine that my life was like a big movie hit on a cinema. I am the protagonist and any events and other characters were added to make my world a glorious place to live.  Well, I rejoice over the thought that I am right on two counts and I am badly mistaken on one count, that is, I am not the main... Read the rest of this entry »
