First Time Opportunities
With some staffs before Christmas eve
It is always inspiring to work in a ministry where people of different views come together as one declaring the glory of the Sovereign King. The stories of those people from the past and of the present, allowed me to discover more of who God is. He has showed himself further and allowed me to open a box of colorful opportunities. Opportunities which I felt incapable of doing and opportunities that made me grow.
After some months of working as a staff in the region with different kind of stressors, God shifted my focus 180 degrees. He let me experience new things – my “first time opportunities”.
Let me share to you the “first time opportunities” I had with my Father and King. Some of which were just “mababaw” but those experiences kept my journey balanced.
After long years of being part of the ministry, it was my first time to join the National Conference. Beside the excitement of seeing some of my KC mates (KC2K4) after 5 years, God made me see that His presence is always with us. He proved to me His faithfulness. It should not surprise me but I did! I was amazed of His provision during the conference and even of the reconciliation and restoration of relationships. Aside from that, caring for the kids through the Child Care Committee made me realize to thank my parents of how they trained me to take care my younger siblings which I used to retaliate.
My first time to step on Tagaytay (where I wonder again, since childhood days, at the beauty of sunflower at the streets), Baguio/Benguet – during the break after NC(the astonishing fogs), and of the Enchanted Kingdom treat (thanks to the sponsor/s! ) made me praise our Creator more for being the really Great One.
Not only that, but I praise Him for for the first time I made a Quiet Time guide (at sa StaffCon pa!). The fellowship with my fellow staff made me feel the love that overflows from Above and encourages me to go on.
It was during those times also that He provided healing to my broken soul. He gave life and restored my bones which were once dry.
Indeed our God and King is always with us in this new horizon! He is forever be praised and glorified!
With all those colorful journey that I had, thank you for your prayers and support. May our joy and passion of serving through the ministry be passed on to the students.
God bless our endeavors!
