Praise the Lord for 3 new field staff: Zyla for Northern Luzon, Joanne for ISCF and Sam for Central Eastern Visayas.
Thank God for a fruitful National Staff Conference last June 1-7. Through the Bible expositions we were assured of God’s blessings. Also for a productive time of interaction with some members of the Board of Trustees and Regional Advisory Councils on our annual plans and budgets.
Pray for the joint Regional Staff & GT Training for Northern Mindanao and Caraga on July 11-13. Pray for Milli Guarin and Celgen Aurestila as they travel and conduct this training. Pray for God’s provision and for enjoyable time of learning.
Pray for the urgent need for a Secretary to the National Director and for additional two field staff for Metro Manila Regional Unit.

Please pray for Di Fernandez, as she recruits volunteers to assist her in the ISCF Ministry. Please pray that God would point her to the people that He has called for suchpurpose.

Pray for the Lord’s provision for the staffworkers’ full salaries for the months of May and June; and for all of our programs for this month.

We warmly welcome Rachel Jentapa, staff deployed here in Western Visayas, who will be based in Iloilo. Pray that there will be smooth transition for her, as she adjust to the regional staff life (new scope of work).She will be arriving on July 1.
Please pray for our Student Leaders' Retreat on July 4 - 6.Pray for good weather, financial provision, & fresh vision. Pray too for our Inter-Campus Acquiantance and Freshmen Treat (Bacolod Area) on July 12.
Pray for one of our ISCF Campus, Mansilingan Christian Academy.The 2nd Floor of their Admin Building was burned.Pray for the Principal, Ma'am Serah Grace Arcolas (IVCF Grad) as she leads the school in this time of need.
Pray for the typhoon victims in Panay.Some of our grads and students were greatly affected by flood and mudflow.Pray that they will be able to recover and will continue to put their trust and hope in God.
Pray that more donors will be challenged to give towards the needs of the Region.

Praise God for the common desires of the students and grads to revive the student ministry in the campuses of Davao, Tagum, General Santos and the rest of SMRU.
Let’s rejoice in the Lord for the success of the Freshmen Treat at Mindanao State University's Sycamour Christian Fellowship. About 175 students attended and more than 50 accepted Christ.Some were enlisted in the EBS meetings and some expressed interest incell groups.
Praise God for 3 Kapalong graduates who are joining in as GT volunteers.
Five GT volunteers (Cheng Combater, James Alvaro, Jocelyn Alcasada, Jasper Duran, Leo Manong) are placed in strategic areas in General Santos and Marbel. pray for additional faithful GT volunteers for each campus chapter in SMRU.All of our GT volunteers are in need of equipping and encouragement.Let’s uphold them to God in prayer.
Let’s pray for deep commitment and good mentoring for both the new and the regular members of ISCF and IVCF chapters across SMRU.
Please pray for the students to have common time for fellowship and for the leaders to have planning and orientation this July.
Let’s ask God for the continuing financial support of our grads and alumni to the student ministry.Please pray for more blessings in their jobs and businesses.

Praise God for His sustaining grace! For our ISCF Camp last May 24-31, staff conference June 1-7. For CEV’s final school year calendar, praise God for a new vision, missions, programs and plans to implement this year, it’s another year ofprivilege to work with the Lord in His ministry.
Praise God for the 3 productive grad meetings. And for the opportunity to present our IVCF updates and plans during Cebu-IVPM meeting last June 28.For grads who have volunteered as official GT’s in Cebu during our GT orientation meeting for these activities: CEV- Regional Advisory Council meeting this Sat, July 5,2008, New Staff Training in Northern Mindanao-July11-13, Grads and Graduate-Volunteers Retreat planning-July 19 in Bohol, Dumaguete area visit -July 24-25, 2008,ISCF camp planning- July 26, 2008
Please pray for mobilizing our partners in the ministry this year: GT & ISCF volunteers in the region; our supporters in prayers and in finances.
Please continue to pray for God’s provision both for staff needs and for the IVCF-CEV regional budget this school year-Php578, 000.00.

Praise God for 16 Young graduates and college ISCF counselorswho committed to help in campus work this Academic Year. Last June 21, we had our Orientation and Fellowship, we thank God for such an inspiring time.Pray for sustained zeal, growing passion for the students, and availability of time and resources. Praise the Lord too for veteran ISCF counselors and ministry partners who have renewed commitment to help.
For passionate student-leaders and IV members in the different IV and IS chapters. Pray for strength and creativity as they put in place their chapter meetings and activities. Praise the Lord for the chapters who had their Freshmen Treat last week. Many still are launching 'welcome meetings' the coming week. May the message of the gospel be powerfully displayed in and through these events.
For MMRU staff workers. Please pray for sustaining grace, wisdom, good health, and provision. May the Lord enable them to do their tasks faithfully and effectively. Pray for team life to be enhanced and to be a blessing to others.
For opportunities to trust and depend on Him. The region is yet to raise funds for its operational expenses. Pray for the Regional Advisory Council and the staff as they think of ways and means to do this together. The average monthly need of the region for its programs is around P30,000.00
