Live life to the fullest

Of calling and perseverance

“You need to persevere so that when you have done the will of God, you will receive what he has
promised.” Heb. 10:36

How much have I given back? Have I truly express gratefulness for what He has done? Loving God and His people is very important.

I came into staff with fears. The fear of living in an unwanted place and the fear of carrying a load too heavy to bear. But in His grace, God showed His Word and made His call clear. I responded. I arrived here in Manila, June 12, 2010, a day after my Birthday. I carried with me the badge I received; “Go and take part of the mission!”

Being an IVCF staff here in Metro Manila is very challenging. I often feel nervous in the many tasks I needed to do. Overseeing my assignment: Far Eastern University, Arellano University and Polytechnic University of the Philippines-Manila is tiring, yet I find joy in being with the students. It is an opportunity to minister to them. They have variety of Godgiven gifts and various testimonies to bless and encourage people. They are future leaders who can bring change to the world and claim it back to God.

Counting each day as a gift from God; I believe I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. Every challenges is an opportunity; I will live life to the fullest!

Thanks to my IVCF family, Church and mentors whom God used to journey with me. I will press on towards the mark!

Praise and Prayer
• Praise God for this calling to be an IVCF staff in Metro Manila. Please pray that I can easily adapt with the lifestyle of the metro-students and be able to adjust with the fast-paced life of the city.
• Praise God for the new IVCF Chapter in Arellano University, I am blessed with the students’ excitement to be part of the mission. They are eager to listen and learn from God’s Word. Pray form wisdom in handling Bible Studies and trainings for the leaders.
• Praise God for the new set of execom of PUP-Kalasag Christian Fellowship. Praise God that this school year, we are finally accredited by the school admin. Thank the Lord for His favor too. Please pray that the leaders’ passion for this ministry will grow.
• Praise God for FEU. We have six students interested and involved in re-pioneering IVCF in this campus. Praise God that despite their busy schedule, they still have time to attend our small group meetings. May they have passion and courage to invite their friends to join us for prayer and weekly fellowship.
