IVCF Board Retreat and Planning

The Board of Trustees of IVCF Philippines had Retreat & Planning on February 5-6, 2009 at the Samaritana’s Sambahay Retreat Center in East Fairview, Quezon City. Six of the 7 active board members were present during this event.  Together with Erickson Velardo (National Director), the IVCF board started with dinner, personal updates, and sharing of IVCF vision.  Later in the night, Pastor Ferdie Juni led the meditation for the retreat focusing on Jeremiah 17:5-8.  The next day, after breakfast, the board had sharing of reflection, mutual encouragement, and prayer time. The challenge for the members of the IVCF BOT is to live holy lives and trust in the Lord as they lead the movement, following the way of the Lord.  The rest of the day was spent in presentation of reports and plans of IVCF Philippines by the National Director, board discussions, decisions, and directions for our movement.

Thanks to IVCF global online community; a number of IVCF alumni prayed for this important event.  It was a blessed and productive time.  IVCF Philippines is blessed to have a passionate, active, and supportive board of trustees.  We praise God and give Him the glory.
