Greetings in the Lord!

Thank you for partnering with us, as we search for our next National Director. Last July 2007, we released an ND Selection and Nomination Form to involve the whole IVCF Community in the search for the next National Director. From this survey, we received 18 responses with 8 nominations. We made another survey last September 2007 as our final call for ND nominations, yet there were no additional candidates submitted for evaluation.

Greetings in the Lord!

Thank you for partnering with us, as we search for our next National Director. Last July 2007, we released an ND Selection and Nomination Form to involve the whole IVCF Community in the search for the next National Director. From this survey, we received 18 responses with 8 nominations. We made another survey last September 2007 as our final call for ND nominations, yet there were no additional candidates submitted for evaluation.

Starting September 2007, the BOT ND Selection Committee deliberated on the 8 candidates taking into account the ND Survey Responses. From the 8 candidates, the BOT ND Selection Committee short-listed 4 candidates who were immediately informed about their nominations. Two of them accepted their nominations and were already interviewed by the BOT ND Selection Committee.

Now, we would like to involve you once again to join us in prayer as the whole IVCF Board of Trustees collectively evaluate and seek the Lord’s guidance on the following candidates for the IVCF National Director:

1. Ramon Tecson is currently our designated IVCF Officer-in-Charge. Ramon is a KC alumnus Batch 1983, and was an active student leader at Cebu Institute of Technology. He also helped as an ISCF Counselor and as a Graduate Team member. A Chemical Engineer by training, Ramon worked in Atlas Mining Corporation ( Toledo, Cebu) and in East Asia Power Resources Corporation and Sunrise Power Corporation (Limay, Bataan). He joined the IVCF Staff Team in 1998, and served as Regional Director for Central and Eastern Visayas for 5 1/2 years. He has recently completed his Masters in Divinity from the Trinity Theological College in Singapore. Ramon is married to the former Jenny San Juan who currently heads the ISCF ministry in Metro Manila.

2. Erickson Velardo is currently our Regional Director for Northern Luzon. He was one of IVCF's ardent leaders during his college days in St. Louis University - Baguio. Erickson joined the IVCF Staff work in 1998, after his stint as Area Sales Manager of Olympia Business Machines Company-Baguio. He completed his MBA in Biblical Stewardship and Christian Management from the Asian Theological Seminary in March 2007.  Erickson is married to Dot Velardo who is also an IVCF staffworker.

As we search for our next National Director, we would like to seek your utmost support to inform the Board of any matters that would affect our further deliberations. If you know of any information, positive or negative, that affect directly the person and ministry of the candidates, please do not hesitate to communicate with us.
