To all existing IVCF Graduates Groups:
Greetings in Christ our Lord Jesus Christ!
IVCF Philippines is 55 years old this year. Praise God for the sustaining grace He has shown to our movement. We continue to strive to improve our ministries as we face the changing times. Early this year our IVCF Board of Trustees approved a new organizational structure to meet the needs of our people, and it was presented in the Annual Corporation Meeting on August 16, 2008. IVCF Philippines now has 3 separate but interconnected ministries: Students, Graduates and Nurses.
To strengthen IVCF Philippines in general and our Graduates Ministries in particular, the IVCF Board of Trustees met on September 3, 2008, and made the Affiliation Policies and Guidelines to give official recognition to Christian graduates groups, Christian sectoral and/or interest groups, and/or IVCF Alumni fellowships that are part of, participating in, and supporting the campus and graduates ministries of IVCF Philippines. We will also invite other groups who would like to join our movement.
There are many great reasons and advantages for this affiliation process. First, Affiliation of groups would ensure the continuity and unity in the purposes and distinctives of IVCF Philippines. Second, there are already many different groups formed by IVCF alumni in line with the ministry of IVCF. In the light of moves of a few groups to register with the Securities and Exchange Commission, the Affiliation Policies and Guidelines aim to officially recognize these different groups as part of IVCF Philippines, and to facilitate harmonious working relationships with one another. Lastly, this Affiliation will strengthen our movement to be more effective in our ministries.
And so, let me officially invite you and your group to be an IVCF Philippines Affiliate Graduates Group. Please be guided by the attached Affiliation Policies and Guidelines. We are providing the Affiliation Application Form, Affiliation Agreement Form, and other IVCF documents. Please send all the required documents to the Office of the National Director, IVCF National Office, Don Primitivo Ext., Don Antonio Hts., Diliman, Quezon City 1101.
We hope to announce all our official IVCF Philippines Affiliate Groups soon. This is an exciting development for our movement. Join us in building a Christ-centered, dynamic community of Filipino students and graduates worldwide, passionately participating in the building of God’s Kingdom in the world.
